Voces de América Latina
(ed) María Palitachi

Picture

An array of powerful voices that echo the throbbing heartbeat of Latin America. Voces de América Latina is a poetic anthology edited by María Palitachi and includes over 80 poets from all walks of life. In this anthology we find representatives from nineteen Latin American countries who have united to share their diverse stories with a thread that leads to our homeland.

Some notable voices within Voces de América Latina are: Saúl Ibargoyen from Uruguay, Gioconda Belli from Nicaragua, Luis Alberto Ambroggio from Argentina, Carlos Aguasaco from Colombia, among many others. It is a deep rooted poetry collection with thirst for a bright future. Palitachi masterfully unites and magnifies colorful and unapologetic voices that speak of the beauty, dreams and struggles of our people. We leave you with a small sample of this transcending 265 page anthology.

Paisajes de Estados Unidos
(by Luis Alberto Ambroggio)

Si cada ladrillo hablara;
Si cada puente hablara;
Si hablaran los parques, las plantas, las flores;
Si cada trozo de pavimento hablara,
Hablarían en Español.

Si las torres, los techos,
Los aires acondicionados hablaran;
