Versos para no dormir solos
Leticia Sandoval
Versos para no dormir solos is an erotic Spanish poetry book by Leticia Sandoval, filled with brief and discrete yet tantalizing verses of corporeal and ethereal dimensions—of seductive and enticing proportions. The magnetism of this erotic work is more than a carnal invitation. It is invitation of the mind and soul as well. On one hand, the author uses playful physical insinuations. "Acamoda la noche/ bajo mi falda" she says, as we are left wanting to know more and imagining the rest. On the other hand, the author extends her eroticism beyond physical lust. We can see it in her words, "Si tuviera un solo beso para darte/ te besaría el alma./ El cuerpo te lo han besado bastante." Wether it is read for the mere pleasure of imagining or seen as a guide to act upon, Besos para no dormir solos will surely leave its mark on the reader; exploring the instincts and delights of human nature. |
