Sandra Cisneros
Sandra Cisneros is one of the most influential Latinx authors of all time. She is regarded by many as the main reference in Latinx and Chicano literature. She has sold millions of books, and her work has been translated all over the world. Her book, The House of Mango Street, is a popular reading in schools and universities across the United States. In this interview with Héctor Rendón, Sandra Cisneros talks about her new book titled Martita, I Remember You, her life's physical and spiritual journey, literary perspectives, and much more.

Héctor "Vale" Rendón (Mazatlán, México) is a publisher, writer, academic, and journalist. He currently works as Assistant Professor at the Newhouse School in Syracuse University. He has written three novels and has lived in five different countries. As a journalist, he has worked for more than a decade as editor, foreign correspondent, TV reporter, multimedia reporter, and editor-in-chief for several media outlets. His main areas of academic study are focused on media narratives about minorities in different social contexts. Throughout his life he has received several awards and grants that support both his academic and creative work.
